30-40% FPS drops on my newly built pc!

Hey guys, some of you might remember me from my last post about the whole standoff fiasco (namely johnb and pete), and the pc is doing great, but today all of a sudden, I'm getting 40% fps drops on games such as Playerunknown's battlegrounds, csgo, etc. For example, I was getting 70 fps of PUBG and now I'm getting 30... wtf is wrong again??

Specs:
AMD Ryzen 1600 + stock cooler
Nvidia gtx 1060 6gb
msi b350m gaming pro motherboard
2x8 gb ddr4 ripjaws V ram
EVGA 500W PSU

I installed new drivers from nvidia, but have since uninstalled the specific ones i installed. the drivers were to run geforce experience which, after I downloaded, decided to uninstall it.
