30 Second Delay

Well I turn on the computer and the manurfacturer screen appears, it then checks CDs to boot from but then the screen goes black and waits 30 seconds before the XP loading screen appears.

This only happened the other day and I have had my PC a few months now.

Recently bought Hardware:

Microsoft Wireless Keyboard

Also I reinstalled the Belkin Wireless USB Dongle if thats any help.

Can any one help me?
 
hi, have you got any memory devices plugged it (memory card, pen drive) as this sometimes happens to me with my ipod, but as soon as unplug everything it gets working again, and if this isn't the case, unplug all USB devices, thenplug them in one by one to find out the cuplrit
