300 gig Image files to DVD

USing Nero to burn 300gig of image files. Find it slow. Can someone suggest a program or write one to first split the data into DVD sized folders. This wuld take a lot of the hassle out of it. Surely Ahead should do this task for you and keep asking for fresh DVDs as it works it's way though a 300 gig folder fiull of imagery. Anyone with expertise on it very anxsious to get help.

Usually nero will ask for more DVD's if you are using the HARD-DISK BACKUP option. If you are creating any other type of DVD, (DATA, AUDIO, VISUAL), there is usually a 4.7gig limit.
