$300ish Linux Computer Build

Hello,

Well I am getting into the computer building scene and would like to build my first computer.
I am starting out at a low budget just because this is my first build and I can always move up.
My budget is $300.00ish shipped.

I will not be doing any gaming on the PC, So as long as the mobo has a OK video to play games on miniclip.com
Other than that it is going to be used 99% of the time for web browsing so I would like it to be as fast as possible for my budget.

Though my budget isn't much I don't want the case to look cheap, something that looks good but doesn't cost a fortune.

Specifications I would like for the PC.
-2GB Ram
-320GB Hard Drive
- Prefer AMD Dual Core 2.0GHz or higher
- CD/ DVD Burner

That is just about it, I will not need a monitor, keyboard/ mouse or OS. Since I already have that stuff and I will also be installing Linux.

I'll make a list here when I get some free time but wanting to see what else everyone comes up with.
Newegg.Com order only.

Shelby,

What do you guys think, Also the Mobo or Proc. do come with a heatsink? and do I need to buy any thermal paste to apply on the bottom of the proc. or does it have the peal paste on the bottom?

If everything looks good I have to throw some money in the back tomorrow and order everything.

rosewill power supplies = crap, i would go with the coolermaster

that hard drive is overpriced

the processor DOES come with a heatsink

Alright, I also added to my checklist a anti-static wrist band.
Total for everything without shipping is $332.42
Do you know if Newegg.com has any discounts or first time purchase discounts?
