Geoff VIP Member Feb 6, 2008 #2 What motherboard do you have? We need to know because were not sure if you use DDR or DDR2.
R repo485 New Member Feb 6, 2008 #3 Im not sure which motherboard i am going to purchase yet, but it will have ddr2 not ddr.
Geoff VIP Member Feb 7, 2008 #4 I don't know the specs of the rest of your computer, but I would go with just some mid-ranged DDR2 800, you can buy 4GB for around $75-$100.

R repo485 New Member Feb 7, 2008 #6 Will there be a lot of lag if you purchase a 64bit os and have like 2 gig of RAM?
Intel_man VIP Member Feb 7, 2008 #7 the only difference I can think of is that you can have loads of RAM in the 64 bit and maximum of 4 GB of ram in the 32 bit version. Dont even see why people need that many GB's of RAM at the moment.
