32 bit or 64

Right now running Xp pro with SP3 on my desktop. i been wanting to go with vista, but im not sure whether i should get 32 or 64 bit. My laptop has 64 bit on it and i like it alot. my desktop has a intel q9300, asus P5Q<green> motherboard. 2gigs of ram (gonna go up). and a pny 8800gts graphics card.

Go with the 64-bit.

More memory capacity
More precision
More bang for your buck

Go with 64-bit if you will have more than 3.5 GB of RAM, else it does not worth it.

I'd have to say 32 because it is more capable of playing games (so ive heard) but if your going business, go with 64

Why would you go with 64-bit if you are using it for business? That's when you would most likely want 32 bit, since several business apps that aren't as common aren't compatible with 64 bit systems. As for games, I can run all my games perfectly fine on x64, even the older Age of Empires games.
