I have a 64 bit cpu (AMD Athlon 64 X2+6000) and 4 gb of ram, however i have a 32 bit OS now and i was wondering whether my computer will be faster during gaming in a noticable way if i change my OS to a 64-bit version or not?
My Comp only recogniozes 3GB now.
Also, is it true that my current CPU will be more powerful and run better if i have a 64 bit cpu?

My graphic card(HD4850) has support for x64 drivers so i won't have any problems with the drivers of my components. I was just wondering whether it's worth changing my OS from 32bit to 64bit?

But make sure you download all your drivers that you might need and put them on a cd.
It is faster than the 32 bit os. I have my system in a duel boot, right now. Because of my webcam won't work in 64bit. But I haven't been in the 32 bit side for a long time.
