voyagerfan99 Master of Turning Things Off and Back On Again Staff member Mar 1, 2008 #3 32 bit recognizes only 3.5 GB (though I thought it was 4) and 64-bit recognizes 8 GB. Just for laughs, you should check out that column at PC World called 1988 vs. 2008. I got quite a laugh at some of the stuff. (I was born in '91)
