how do you find your 7600GT works for you impluse??

I used to have a MSI double slot cooler 7600GT and it played games very well but when I got my 8800GTS 320MB it plays games even better I would reccomend upgrading to the 8800GTS.

I love it. It was very affordable and since I dont do much (if any) gaming it drives my 22" monitor at 1680x1050 effortlessly. I plan on purchasing another 22" in the future and it will support dual monitors at 1680x1050 each.

does anybody know, as regards value for money, which would be best
8800ultra-$900
8800gtx -$700
8800gts -$400

Both will run the games the same, but people really need to search because i'm saying the same thing so many times a day...

Go with the 64 bit version of Windows, it supports alot more RAM and the future 64 bit apps.

The 8800GTX and GTS are the best IMO, but where are you getting those prices? You can pick them up for alot less then that.

8800GTS: $260
8800GTX: $480
8800Ultra:$580

Research to make sure the games/apps you use will run in a 32 bit OS.

Gametap, for instance, does not support 64 bit OS's yet.

Last time i checked 64bit XP had an option to install and run as a 32bit application or program, so that makes it "backwards" compatible. As for the video card, a 640MB GTS would be nice.
