I have $330 to spend exactly to buy a graphics card although, I might need to update my amd 965 processor as well. The two cards i'm looking at is r9 290 and r9 290x which is better and can anyone suggest a better deal or card? Please explain in as much detail as you can. I'm not very good with computers

What motherboard do you have? What do you use your system for? If gaming, what games do you want to play?

This is kinda of a old topic that was answered but, these are two different cards that i'm looking at now. If you want to browse my old post has all the info. I only posted a few times on this site so far.

I believe it was you I was talking to before

Yes, the R9 300 series just came out not too long ago. I just received my R9 380 but haven't had time to test it out. I'm sure you can scrape up $5 for shipping.

If you want to save alittle money get a R9 290. If not the small difference in price between a R9 290X and R9 390 kinda makes the R9 290X pointless. Get a R9 290 or R9 390.

I'm actually playing a game called sky forge right now and it rates my graphics card at 5.0 and my processor is rated at 4.6 in order to play at max its recommended 8.0 for both

Do think I should try to get a nice used r9 290 on ebay? I have seen them go for around $220 and then I could probably get a better processor or should i just stick with getting a r9 390? Maybe something like this but, buying both of these are still kinda way out of my budget.

Looks like the 8320 has been sold. Will your case fit the tri 290? Do you have an aftermarket cooler for the processor?
