35mm DOF adaptor

I'm going to be adding a 35mm DOF adaptor to my video camera.

Here's a quote from a dude that's done it already;

Kodak Zi8 > 25-37mm step up ring > 37-52mm step up ring > 2 macro 10x lens or lenses that add up to 20 [they'll have the number of the macro on the side of the lens like +4 or something] > 35mm adapter > and whatever lens you plan on using.

You'll need to get a 52mm macro lens because it'll fit the body of your adapter the best and its the most common one you'll find in stores.

Think I'd need the 37mm version.

He says to put the macro lenses on the 35mm adaptor... would it work? Do all the fittings sound like they'd go together?

I also had a question about mountability of certain devices such as an HD monitor or a Zoom audio recorder. Then I found out you can mount both to the habbycam DSLR cage- problem solved! Check it out here:
