Hi just moved to germany. I brought my 360 here to play my US imports. I thought about just getting a european power supply because converters dont work well I hear...

Anyone have a successful experience with this?

Thanks

Matt

Get a transfo.

It needs to be converted or you'll fry your system. Europe is 220 volts and US is 110 volts.

well, I use a european power supply, works fine for me! :P

joking aside, it should work (let me put it different, I dont see why it would not work)
you could always ask in the shop where you want to buy it, if it doesnt work you should be able to return it. :)

the netherlands are 230Volt btw Punk :P but yea, mainly Europe uses 220Volt @50Hz, while America uses 115Volt @ 60 Hz (the different frequenties make quite a big difference too in effective voltage. )

ah angel thanks! I heard you can torch a converter, can I pick a power supply up in an electronics store? Germany has a place called MediaMart or Markt, or is this strichtly ebay.

Thanks!

Mediamarkt (translated Media Market basicly) is an electronics store. (relative big)
I doubt they'll have seperate power supplies for an xbox there to be honest (but ofc, it might be worth a shot, never looked for one :) )

another suggestion would be a Gameshop (shops that buy/trade your games/consoles and sell them) those kind of shops usually have a few of those spare.

Yeah I actually had my girlfriend ask and they had a PSU but they said it would cost 100 euro and I can get a used xbox for that price. Crazy

And I heard ebay.de takes forever to ship but thats okay. How would I search for 360 power supply in german... I know dutch and german are different but maybe you know.

Thanks!
