3D-Analyse

where is it? at a guess i would say that does some sort of test to see what ur graphics card can do...

The program is called 3D-Analyze, and It's by Tommti-Systems. What the program does is it gives options to null shaders and textures, and gives options to emulate hardware graphic functions using software. Its main purpose it to allow users who don't have video cards up to spec to be able to play games which require higher video card specs than what the user has.

Another use is to cheat on benchmarks (it was used widely in 3DMark2001), by nullifying all the textures and shader effects. What this would do is it would basically make all the textures white, only rendering polygons. This would in return give you an unrealistic score for your hardware.
