Yop Everybody,
soo, as you might know, i now have GTX 550 Ti as my graphics card..
and i saw that it supports 3D Vision, and in todays newspaper a local "Tech"store (that sells computer stuff and more) had in discount 3D glasses..

it says they are for TVs, but does they work for Computer?
the glasses are Samsung SSG-3100GB..
and my screen is an ASUS VW195D (i know it's old).. but i do still have couple of programs (+games) that has the 3D effect thing...
so i was wondering if the Samsung SSG-3100GB/XH would work for my computer (program with 3D option), or does it only work for Samsung TVs that are from 2011 (it said something like that on a site about the glasses)...

e. or do they have to be nVidias own 3d glasses..?

monitor must say 3D vision ready, and requires a 120hz refresh rate, said monitors usually cost in upwards of 300 dollars or more. i think you are sunk

^This. If you do decide to spend that much on a monitor just be sure that 3d vision is right for you. I had 3d vision but I decided it was to much of a gimmick for me, and there is only a handful of games that are 3d vision ready. Many games have a rating of excellent but have a few rendering problems here and there. It does put some strain on your eyes so it takes some time to get used to. It will also cut your frame rate in half. But it is cool, especially BC2.
