Hey,
I read somewhere that 3GB of RAM is useless and you should go in doubles, like 2GB and 4GB and so on...is this true?
My server is running CentOS 64-bit Linux OS and I have 3GB DDR2-800mhz RAM on it; it won't boot correctly with 4GB (for some reason, don't know why yet).
Just wondering if having 3GB of RAM is a bad thing or if the extra GB is ignored or what? I have 4x 1GB DDR-2 800mhz RAM sticks in it..
Thanks for the help.
