3x Monitor + 1 GPU vs 2 GPU

Alright, so I'm building a new computer. It's pretty high-end. Things such as 4790K, MSI Gaming 7, GTX 970, 16GB DDR3 1866, etc. But my real question is... I have the budget for one of the following:

Option 1) 3x 24" 1080p monitors + 1x GTX 970
Option 2) 2x 27" 1080p monitors + 1x GTX 970
Option 3) 2x GTX 970

Which option should I pick? I currently own 2x 1080p monitors of different make and models and 1x monitor at 1600x1200 and I don't play games with 3 monitors split. I only play games with 1 main monitor, skype and small things on another, and webbrowsing and maybe other things on another monitor.

Edit: The reason why I considered new monitors was because I wanted a VESA mountable monitor that all matches. Having different make and model monitors are fine, but it's just the OCD that gets me.
Edit2: To clarify, I own an HP 2311x (23-inch), Samsung SB24B150 (24-inch), and some generic Dell that runs on 1600x1200.

Option 2 may be most suitable, but if you already have 2 1080p monitors that run well, go with option 3. You'll enjoy the 2 GTX 970's together

Thanks a lot for your thought! I really appreciate it. I'm really leaning towards Option 1 and 3, so I might take your advice with going with option 3. I'd just like more thoughts and opinions if possible from other people.

Unless you're planning on gaming across multiple screens just get Option 3.
