4 gig possible?

is it possible for me, and is there any point, to put in 4 gigs of memory instead of two with my future comp specs (see sig)?

there is no point in having 4 gigs of ram unless you run very ram intensive programs

I'm doing fine with 2G and no swap file. 4G is pointless.

Plus, I've heard some stuff about Windows not being able to use more than 2G. I've heard some people say only in 64bit mode....

Windows XP only used to be able to use 1.5 GB, but that was fixed in an update after SP1 (not SP2), which fixed the whole 100GB hard drive issue (XP used to not be able to use more that 100GB on a HDD). And as for is it needed, unless you are doing some CGI or major audio or video editing... no. In about 2 years, I'd say that would be a possible neccessity or worth it, but definitely not now...
