bought a new power supply and wiring it in, before i even started anything i noticed the mobo has an 8 pin connection for the cpu power, but the current supply only has a 4 pin option (it came w the computer and a uncle upgraded the mobo) the question is do i use the 8 pin? or stick w the 4 pin?
the mobo is an asrock extreme 3 r2.0 amd board
the cpu is amd fx4300 unlocked
plz any response is welcome as i am new to this portion of computers.
