ok, so I have a case with 4 LED's on the front.. I go to college.. Roommate... blah blah...
I am looking for a 4 pin (molex) switch, but newegg and tiger direct have non of the such...
Is it possible to make my own by buying a switch from radioshack and splicing it betwen one of the 2 wires the LEDs use in the 4 pin connection? I want a way to turn them on and off without un plugging them....
Ideas?
Thanks..

You could get a 2 pin toggle switch, take all of the led's positive wires, splice them and connect one side to a connector on the switch, and then connect the other side to the other leg of the switch, and its done!!

Yeh, i recommend soldering the connections and convering with heatshrink, but if you dont have this then buy some spades, they are the best things to use for switches IMO cos you can disconnect it easily if you need to, where as solder is permanent.

solder isn't permanent :p

un-solder it :D

I soldered mine, and if you need to add an extension wire to make it longer, i recommend soldering the wires together
