ok guys, i need some help again. friend has $400, has OS, has monitor and was wondering if he can get a decent computer that can handle games such as CS, WoW with the price of $400. It must be $400, including shipping and tax, no mail-in rebate price. We would understand like up to $420 but nothing higher! Please once again, help me out with a build. Thanks!

I am going to assume he is looking for American funds seeing as that was what the other thread he posted was in for a build he was doing for his brother.

Interesting thing to me is I know a couple WoW guildies were talking about $400 computers yesterday. Do you have to play on Burning Blade mwahsun?

Still gotta account for input devices and OS. I don't really know how to make an all inclusive comp for 400..I think that'd be a fun challenge. Def. some OC'ing in order.

If you dont need the HD and OS your in luck....the software alone will cost more bucks than hardware! I just built a system for just under 300 bucks! of course with no OS and HD.

No No No, those settups are nice, but the RAM is not.

You definetly have to go with 2 x 1 GB sticks.
and might as well spend $15 more and get a nicer case.
I'll brb w/ a settup
peace

It certainly is a small world afterall eh, lol. I am going to assume you are either Whitby, Courtice or Bowmanville. Unless of course you live in North Oshawa. I currently live just around the corner from the Oshawa Centre. Park/Gibb or Stevenson/Gibb to be a bit more specific.

The aforementioned setups are not bad, however they are not going to be amazing, however when WoW was first launched I was playing it on a P3 800MHz, 256MB ram, and an ATI 9600 256MB video card with a dialup connection, lol. It got me by to say the least.

I imagine anything listed must be better then what your friend already has.
