Which would be better for gaming? And which are more stable with OC? Their both about the same price, but I'm stuck on which to get, any help?

edit: sorry I should have read the forums first, theres another thread on the same subject. (I was in a hurry). Excuse me.

it depends... one has a higher frequency, the other has two cores. i went with the 3800+ which offers the processing speed, but the 4000+ offers more cache per process, and a higher frequency.
im sure both are very overclockable, and both are a good choice. i guess if you're just going to be gaming then its fine, but if you want to have iTunes playing music, downloading, and the such, the 3800+ is VERY good.

personally, i prefer doing more at once. id go with the 3800+
i o/ced mine to a nice 2.4ghz without even a vcore increase!
no vcore increase = no huge increase in heat!

the x2 will be futureproof. so in a year or so games will be able to utilize dual cores and it will be better. i wuld get the 3800 because it will do fine with games now and games in the future.
