Does it come with an OS?

If so, for the price that is fairly impressive (unless it is, as I suspect, used), even if it is AM2+, with a crappy PSU, probably cheap, low quality case, low quality motherboard and 5400RPM hard drive.

I am going to guess it is second hand considering the price and a point is made that it all comes with retail boxes

Is someone selling this to you? This isn't a bad deal, besides the fact that it's an older board that's using ddr2 memory.

What is the manufacturer and model of the power supply?

What is the model number of the hard drive?

What is the model number of the motherboard?

What OS will it comes with?

What CPU cooler does it have, and when was the last time the system was cleaned out, including thermal paste being reapplied

If the PSU is low end, I would strongly recommend putting a bit more in to replace it, it is not worth staying on a low end PSU for the sake of price.

I would ask about the hard drive and motherboard for upgrading in the future (for the mobo) and for whether or not a faster hard drive would be an idea if the current one is designed for storage rather than a boot drive.

Well, the processor on the first is better and the first has a graphics card where this does not. Though it does use faster ram.

The one you found is better than that build, at least in terms of performance if not quality. As Troncoso says though, find out the actual parts
