i have a spare 450W, no brand, atx switching psu. i want to buy a mini-itx mobo/cpu.
i used antecs psu calculator and i only need about 90W.
if i use this, it's not going to blow up my mobo right?
thnx

No it won't blow anything up, the computer only draws as much power as it needs. However, what type of mini-ITX case are you using that can fit a full atx power supply?

it's a surprise semi-custom case, i'll post about it when it's done ;)

i wanted to buy one of those picoPSU but the 90W and 120W are out of stock until later this month. if if get the mobo this week, i want to be able to test it.
i actually took the thing apart and am planning on just using the insides. it's a lot smaller that way and can fit sideways. and it has more power and connections for future upgrades, so if it fits in the case, i might stick with it.

lovely?

just the mobo w/atom cpu, a notebook hdd and one ram stick. it has integrated video and audio, and just need a pata cd-rom to install the os, then it's gone :D
