4600+ overclock

Hi there! Thank you in advance for all comments and suggestions.
I rebuilt my computer from scratch, and had to straighten bent pins to get the processor to even fit onto the motherboard. Long story short, it works, but with only one core working.
Now, because I have a Zalman heat sink/fan installed that can definitely handle the heat of a dual-core processor, heat is not an issue. So, what I'm wondering is, with heat not being an issue, is there really a limit as to how much I can safely overclock this processor?
It is already overclocked to 2.64ghz via the Bios' AI overclock - 10%, which is the max, which means that if I want to overclock it any more, I have to go manual.

What board have you got? A 4600 can only overclock using the bus. I've had a few 4600 and 200 or 300 mhz. was the limit. The 4600 didnt overclock that well. With the older Athlons, the 5000/5200 were better overclockers.

Dont really see why bent pins would kill a core. Unless some pins were broke loose.
 
The motherboard is an Asus m2n32-SLI deluxe motherboard. I believe that there is no limit in the bios, using manual setting. Thank you for pointing out the max voltage thing, I knew there was another factor to temperature, I just couldn't quite remember. I'm not sure what the max voltage is, I'll look it up.

I oc'd it to 235 - 2.75ghz, and the funny thing is is that in the bios settings, I put it to 1.5V, and on CPUZ, it says that it's running at 1.61 (and in the bios it said that as well).
Last time I checked, 35 degrees!

Well, I was concerned for the high voltage. So I turned it down to 1.56V, at 2.76ghz. It's running stable so far.
 
35 degrees. The cooling is designed for dual core, and due to physical damage it is now only one core, so the temp is well maintained.
