478 Motherboard help!

I am looking for a socket 478 motherboard. I need it to support PCI express graphics, AGP x8 , 2x old hard drive slot (sorry dont know the name but i think its serial ATA. Its for use with a 40gb seagate Barracuda ST340016A ) an intel pentium 4 3.0GHz (presscott) with HT. Can someone please help ASAP thanx!!!!!:confused:
 
I had a look at that but it only has 1 serial ATA(im guessing again) port? is there anymore as there are very fiew s478 motherboards these days
 
The link you gave me tells me that its a "Ultra ATA/100" interface. is that pata. what about my dvd drive thats the same connection as my hard drive will i be able to plug this all in plus my new dvd-rw when it comes?
 
it can connect up to 2 devices so you can hook one to the hdd and one to the disc drive.

if you are going to put all those drives in there then you should but a sata dvd burner instead because it only has up to 2 pata devices. unless you want to go the other way around and plug the two dvd/burner drives and get a sata hdd.

Even if it only had 1 sata port, just buy a SATA add-on card for $20 or so that adds 2-4 SATA ports.

ah, mis-read it. You can buy an add-on card for addition PATA slots if you want them.
 
you can have up to two ide devices if you want to install more than that you should get an ata133 add on card or think about getting another mobo.
