4850 or 9800gt?

Im building a new rig and dont know what video card to get.
Im choosing between the 2, these are:

This card looks awesome but, what i like about it, is that you can bump the performance by 15%!

This is a very known card and great card.

Which to choose from?

here is a review of the 9800gt matrix http://www.hardwarezone.com/articles/view.php?id=2713&cid=3&pg=1 the 4850 ref design beats the 9800gt in all the test so you should go for the 4850.

I gotta say I prefer 4850 myself its faster and around the same price.

Also benchmarks show it slaps the 9800GT around like a red headed step child.

9800GT vs. 4850 is not a fair comparison. In Nvidia you would have to use the 9800GTX+ vs. 4850

yes it should be between the 9800gtx and 4850 as they are more similar in price...

also take into consideration if your motherboard is sli or crossfire, as time goes by you might want to buy another card for sli/crossfire

Two 9800GT in SLI should be better than HD4850

But I recommend getting GTX 260 and then then latter you could add another GTX 260 for SLI

The GTX 260 costs a lot more than the HD 4850 though.

Well if you're gonna buy a 260 you might as well buy a 4870, cheaper and faster.

But for your question, go 4850.
