4850s vs. 5770s?

So I'm currently running two XFX 4850s in CrossFireX and it runs all games on max beautifully! I've been thinking about upgrading my cards though since the 4800 series is a bit older and was thinking about the 5770s. Reading the specs, they seems similar (same amount of stream processors, etc) except that the 5770s have a higher core clock (850 vs. 625) and run GDDR5 and not GDDR3. Wondering if it's worth the upgrade. I'd be selling the cards of course and using the cash towards the 5770s. Other than DX11 and the available HDMI ports available on the 5770s, are there any other significant gains?

There isn't much of a significant increase going from a HD 4850 to a 5770. I would just stick with the 4850's if I were you, because you have a very nice system going that can play pretty much any game right now.

IMO it's not worth the money to upgrade, if you really want an upgrade you would be looking at any of the 5800 series.

Not worth it at them moment, wait till ATI does their 6000 series at least.
5770>4850
4850x2>5770
5770x2>4850x2
5770x2>4850

The DX11 will be useful for the future, however. But the 4850 is still a nice card.

stick with a single card. you never want to start by buying 2 cards. down the road tri-firing would be a lot harder than crossfiring say 2 5850s. why wait on the 6xxx series? they aren't coming out with a new dx and i doubt (other than maybe crossfire eyefinity) there'll be anything really so spectacular about them that they make the 5xxx series look like piss.
