4850x2

Looking for some reliable benchmarks. Im trying to figure out what video card im going to use in my core i7 build. I dont want to pay over 400 for the 4870x2 so im debating between a gtx260 gtx280 and hd 4850x2. Your opinions are greatly appreciated.
 
4850 x2 is 20% slower then the 4870x2 to give you a rough idea of price vs performance.

Also I recall reading the 4850x2 is roughly as fast as the 280 and is cheaper

One thing though to think about is the PhysX with Nvidia...I dunno if ATI has anyway to cash in on that feature nor how worth while it is to have.

Reason I am holding out on upgrading my GPU since I am pushing between ATI and Nvidia atm.

Yah same i dont want to spend a ton of money on an 4870x2. Let me know what you come up with in your situation

What kills me is the fact a 4850x2 is faster and at times cheaper then a 280...I thought the 280 was 2GB....not a 1GB card.

Nvidia sure jacked the prices up on that ^-^

I don't plan to upgrade for a while...my 8800GT is being kind enough to me...waiting for the 4870 1GB to drop in price. I don't need the power of a 2GB GPU and I don't need to upgrade quite yet since I my GPU is still working for me. The day is coming though....next round of games are coming ^-^
