4870 on 440w?

I'm stuck on my old dell dimension 8400 and I'm getting a 4870 but the dell only has a 440w psu. Will that suffice for the time being if I'm not OCing or running anything more graphic intensive than cs source?

Well that P4 will be holding you back quite a bit, i would say go for something like a 4830 or 9800GT, they will better suite you, becuase that single core will definatly pull you back from the full potiential of that card...

I'm not sure about the PSU specs. I do know it powered an X850XT platinum without problem.

And if it matters the psu has 1 6pin connection I'll only have to use the adapter for the second one
