There are hundreds of benchmarks for the 4870 X2 (Google ).

What I could do is buy two 4870 X2's, run some tests, and then sell the extra one.

O ok, thats cool and all. I love how when you ask questions on here everyone refers you to google. If I found something already then I wouldn't have asked. All the benchies I've found via google where released before the card so I was seeing if there where any credible ones. Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it.

This card ate crysis on max. I think ATI is going to get ahead of nvidia here finally. A lot of their cards that aren't as good as some of the nvidia ones are still almost comparable, and for a much better price.

I don't get whats so special about this card. It still doesn't beat nVidias GTX 280 and costs more. Anyone want to clue me in?

Well it shows an average about 43% increase over the 4870 and it does beat the gtx280 in most but not all tests. but it is enough to make it the top graphics card so i guess thats enough. i am disappointed i would probably go with 2 4870's if i had a choice.

Two 4870's costs more than one 4870 X2. Is the two way crossfire rate enough to make it worth it?
