4870x2 or 8800gts or ?

I have been out of touch with graphics cards lately, I have each of the following in my possession, Radeon 4870x2 and a Ge-Force 8800GTS. How are these comparing to cards now a days?

The 4870x2 will still play games quite well. I can't speak for the 8800gts. I don't really know that series too well.

I had an 8800GTS, it's about the same as an ATI 4850. 4870x2 is a lot better than the 8800. Should play anything you'd want to play fine.

He isn't buying a new card he already has them both.

And the 8800 GTS still works fine with most games. I can play Fear 2, CODMW2, Assasins Creed 2 on high res still.

Although I just got my new GTX460 so its bye bye to my faithful 8800 GTS.

He is right, I have the 2 listed above, 4800x2 and 8800gts. I am trying to do a budget rebuild of about 500is dollars. http://www.computerforum.com/184419-frankenstein-pc-need-help.html. I have had problems with one cpu that I have troubleshot twice now so I was thinking new MB, CPU, Ram/DDR3 as I have everything else and hoping that one of these cards was still good to go.

if you have the slots... cross fire the 4800s and use the 8800 as a dedicated physx card

but yeah the 8800 can play basically anygame today atleast on medium settings
