4Gb or 2Gb of RAM under Windows 7?

I recently upgraded to Windows 7 32-bit and now I'm wondering if I should upgrade my RAM from 2 to 4Gb. I didn't do it in the past since I heard that Windows XP to recognize 4 can be kind of a hazel. I do like to play games on my PC (MW2, L4D2, Operation Flash Point, ect) and I'm wondering if the upgrade will make a noticeable difference. I'm thinking of getting this:

If you are on a 64 bit (x64) based version of Windows 7, go for it, otherwise you will only be able to use around 3.2GB beacuse 32bit can recognise up to 4gb but only use in a useful way around 3.2GB

Yes that is true but as Aastii said only around 3.2GB of that will actually be useful. It would be much simpler to go for 64-bit because then you are sure there will be no hassle with the memory.
 
No you will not see an improvement in gaming, it might even drop a little, unless your playing crysis, its pretty much the only game that will actually utilize that extra ram, i got 3 extra fps moving from 2 to 4 while playing crysis.

My boot up was a little faster, vista for me is smoother now, overall im happy with my upgrade from 2gigs to 4gigs, o and i have 32bit, so i can only use 3.25gig of my 4, but still worth it :good:
 
there is a patch floating around on the internet somewhere that add an adress extention for 32 bit OS's so u can have up to like 8gb ram. im not sure if its legal or not, but i used it on my parents pc a while ago and it works fine, and uses all 4gbs.
