Guys do you have any idea if Quad SLI gtx titan can push a 4k monitor? Im not sure if games support it, or how much horsepower we need to push this thing. I know it sounds stupid, and it will probably be stupid, but hey, im stupid. :D

It would have the horsepower provided that there were no SLI issues but 2gb per GPU would bottleneck you pretty fast.

I always love it when you post threads, because they generally involve upgrades that the rest of us couldn't even dream of affording, but yet we still get to have the privilege of advising you on what to buy.

In fact, why stop at a single-socket LGA 2011 board? Just get this! :P

Oh come on now that would just be ridiculous

You can get 4K monitors for pretty cheap these days. The best way to think of them is to say, could my rig run 4 x 1080p monitors at 60FPS? Id say 2 titans would do that. My rig would handle it. Im actually in the market for a 4K monitor myself. The $3.5K Samsung has my vote because of its 60Hz refresh rate, but you can get them cheaper at 30Hz.

Anyone here know if any popular games are threaded for 16 cores or 32 threads? Dual 8-core Xeons would be pretty cool. :D Alternatively, you could just go with two quad-core Xeons, and you would still be better off than if you had a 6-core i7.

Surely your vRam would be limiting it a lot.
