5.1 Mobo support?

Just need to know if my Motherboard (Asus P5KPL/1600) will support 5.1 surrond sound. I plan to get a Samsung 5.1 home theatre and connect it via a RCA connection straight into the soundcard.

That board has 7.1 so you will have no problems. I would connect it with a Optical cable for the best sound quality.

I do have optical but arent sure where to connect it. Doesnt seem to fit in very well anywhere. Thanks
