jjsevdt New Member Jan 1, 2008 #2 music is only encoded in 2 channels. your subwoofer is used due to the absence of a woofer in your speakers. Some sound cards have "environments" that would force the sound to all speakers, but the rear speakers will most likely be an echo of sorts.
