500 Dollar Gamer

Im looking to build an inexpensive gaming desktop with a budget of around 500 dollars that can easily run Star Wars: The Old Republic on it. Im completely new to this so I was wondering if anyone would be able to come up with a rig for me?
 
What is your nation? And do you have any parts that you can reuse such as RAM, hard drive, or possibly GPU or CPU?

500 will be cutting it tight if you need all of the parts and a copy of windows.
 
is the windows an oem or retail copy, or something else? if one of the first 2 your good there, if not it costs 100 for one that will work.
 
Ok, it will be easier to make one with a complete 500 to spend.

AMD, Intel, or no preference.
AMD, Nvidia, or no preference.
Any preference on brands for case, ram, psu, or hard drive?

Honestly, I don't really have any preference as to what brands I would prefer. I just want whats best for my price range.
 
 
how about buying a system on ebay?? I did this before and got a good deal, Im sure you can get a decent system for under $500
 
not really, idiots on ebay don't know what good specs are so if it looks nice or sounds fast they jack up the prices and you pay 500 for used crap you could've gotten something better new for
