500 watts enough?

ok, question is would 500 watts be enough to power a gtx 280, a pair of liang d5 pumps(plus 6 fans or so), a pair of ssd's and a raid card, the unit in question would be one of the seasonic power supplies

A GeForce GTX 280 requires you to have a 550 Watt power supply unit at minimum if you use it in a high-end system. That power supply needs to have (in total accumulated) at least 40 Amps available on the 12 volts rails.

I wouldn't use it. I guess it could work but not long. Don't risk it and get a quality PSU.
