5400 vs 7200 RPM

When I ordered my laptop, I opted for the 5400 RPM hard drive instead of a 7200 RPM because it was cheaper and I hoped for a longer battery time. But, reading around, it sounds like that there isn't really an advantage to having a slower hard drive. What's your guys's opinion on this?

The thing is, the laptop going to used mainly for multimedia purposes. I really don't mind marginally longer load times but I'm really concerned for the overall performance of the laptop.......

Well the difference isn't that noticeable but well some people like me who are picky, tends to notice it even if it's by a little margin :P

You should get more battery life, the 5400 RPM drive should have more capacity as well. The battery life difference probably isn't huge though.
