So I have been looking to build my little brothers computer for Christmas. He already has....

Cooler Master HAF 912:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003ZM7YTA/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00

Western Digital Caviar Blue WD5000AAKX 500GB 7200 RPM:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005UFK4E2/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00

CORSAIR XMS3 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145260

So we need to find a PSU, MB, CPU, dvd burner, GPU for about 550$ MAX before rebates.

If you believe that there are "better" pieces that can come out to the max price, I would love to know! I prefer sites like TigerDirect because I do not get charged tax.

Here is what I have put together....

Coolermaster 500w:
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4465483&sku=C283-1220

MSI Z77A-G41 Intel 7 Series Z77 Motherboard:
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3431743&sku=M452-8550

Intel 3570k:
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2373004&sku=I69-3570K

DVD Burner:
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4829307&sku=L12-1312%20OEM

EVGA GF GTX 560 Ti:
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7191450&sku=E145-0560

Cooler Master Hyper 212:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16835103065

Cost: $561.95
After Rebates: $511.95

Hope to get some feedback! Thanks!

I would not go with the Coolermaster PSU, I'd get a Corsair CX 600 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139028

Don't get me wrong the 560 Ti is a good card still, but the 7850 is newer and faster etc http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150617

Cooler, CPU and board all looks good.

A game we were gonna buy anyways + faster. I will defiantly pick that up. thanks!

With that, I am fine with picking up a higher costing PSU like that

With those, the total cost is about $50 higher, but it does come with a $60 game that I was planning on getting. So yea ill be fine with getting it.

This is basically the max I can go, and I assume there isn't any other possible cut cost options :)

You could get an i3 and maybe look at getting a 7870 and getting some good performance there or just stick with the 7850, but the i5 will be good. :)

yea, I will probably stick with this. Seems like a good deal to me. At least now I feel more confident with the purchase. Thanks
