5770 Update Help

For some reason I am unable to play my game Battleground Europe since I upgraded my computer over Christmas,adding the 5770 Radeon to my windows 7 64 bit.
Their ticket I got from complaining to Battleground europe ticket said to upgrade.I did and it didn't work.
I installed a 32 bit windows 7 operating system just for games.I thought the game would work but it didn't.
Could someone tell me exactly how to upgrade a video card as I may be doing it wrong.
Step by step please.

Did it work with Win7 before you upgraded to the 5770? And what GPU did you have before you bought the 5770?
