ok ill start by saying i know AMD arnt great OC'ers
not much luck hear ive got it at 3.4GHz strugling to go higher my temps are great 32idle an 42 on strees testing but it does not want to go much higher do i need to give my ram a bit more power drop my HT link
i just dont know

Post a cpuz screenshot. Your lucky to get 3.3 stable, anything higher would probably only be benchmark or screenshot stable.

Keep your HT link around 1000mhz, so you may need to drop the HT Link multi to 4x.

I wouldn't suggest going over 1.55v

i cant drop it to x4 my choises are 200MHz 400MHz 600MHZ 800MHz 1GHz so should i set it to 800MHz an start going again oh an it turns out that 3.4 was not stable 1 an a halve hours in to prime 95 an it lost it but when i get this htlink down ill try again

Yes you set it to 800, and your probably overclocking your ram too. If your running DDR2 800 set it back to 677. The 5600-6000-and 6400 have about a 3.3ghz limit unless you really crank up the voltage and with the performance difference between 3.3-3.4 and 3.5 its not worth it.

no it is not worth it, im back to stock now.
an yea i had my ram set to 667 an my ht was at 800 it just is a shit OCer
