my friend has a evga 6200 and he wants to overclock it, any ideas on what programs to use? Also i know that some 6200s can be softmodded to a 6600 by unlocking 4 extra pipes, does anyone know if a evga one could? thnx
 
If any program can it would be rivatuner. Go to NVstrap, then GPU configuration, check allow enabling masked hardware units, and set it to custom, then go to customize. Check the disabled pixel quads and vertex units, restart, then check for artifacts.
 
If your card is unlockable it should. If it says the quad is still disabled then it didnt work. Theres a guide for it here. Its for the 6800, but it still applies.
