64-32 BIT vista

i see na great deal o na hp computer that was with intel core 2 quad 8200. came wiht 1.2Tb hd 16gb Ram ATI RADEON 3450. all for 699.

my questions is sicne it has 64bit windows on it can i wipe it and put 32 bit on it. as most 64 bit chips will work 32 bith. i beleive only gain of 64 bit is mroe RAM. if so that would be great.

Why do you want to go to 32-bit when you have 64-bit already?

and how the hell is a computer with 16 GB of ram, and a (I assume) 1.5 TB HDD and a quad processor only $699???

Your first post says you have 64-bit and want to wipe it out

Your sig indicates you currently have 32 and 64 in dual boot setup

Your next post indicates you don't have 64-bit...and have 32-bit on all the time?

the 64 bit thats on my machine now is not my copy its my professors. the 32 bit is one i purchsed my self.

and yes it says 1.2TB of space not 1.5

the 16g ram and quadcore is on salfe with intant 250 off with online order just want ot know if i took off 64 and put 32 bit on till i got my hands on 64 bit will it run, drivers wise
