6400 go driver??? where can i get them cause the ones u download of nvidia dont work on my laptop. I heard you had to change some things cause those drivers dont support laptop video cards?!?!?!??!

If it didn't come with an installer you would go into the device manager and look for the listings under display adapters and right click on them to choose the update driver option. You should see a primary and secondary listing. If there is only one for your model card simply right click on that to proceed with the update where you will browse to the drivers whether on removable media or where downloaded to a folder. Windows should recognise and copy them right away. Upon restart of the system those will then be set active.

wa???? i went into device maneger clicked on update drivers and used the function to find my own driver and it doesnt show in browse. theres like a nv.accelerant file and nv.driver file and thats it????!?!

You may want to try the automatic method there to have Windows search the web and download the correct drivers. The other place to look would be the cd that should have come with the laptop itself. Generally that will have separate folders for video and sound as well as board drivers and softwares.

well i already have the original driver installed thats y i want the latest one. plus the internet with the automatic thing doesnt work.

That model card most likely uses the same update as another model with a simple change in the number for laptops. One of the available updates should go right on there. Emailing tech support for make there would probably see a link in the response.
