64bit win xp?

i have been told that to run windows xp in a 64 bit environment you have to have a 64bit windows xp, is this true?

You can only run windows xp in 64bit if you have Windows XP Pro x64.

And you have to have the corresponding hardware and software that are compatible.

yeah at first my laptop arent having any drivers at all for it, now i got it setup and everything's working finw with third party drivers lol.

so if you want to get into a 64bit xp u might wanna do some research with your setup and see if anythings compatible and have drivers.

Also, I've had experience with games not being able to run or sporadically being able to run on xP x64, if you like gaming.
