How do you figure out the density of the ram if they don't say it on the details/specs?
Say its: 1GB PC2700 333Mhz 64x8 DDR
Thanks.

Oh, and what would you guys choose?
1. Generic/house brand, with lifetime warranty
2. Super Talent brand with only 1 year warranty

1. How many chips equals low density?
2. I meant generic as in, no brand (er something similar to that meaning)
3. Are you saying, warranty doesn't matter that much?

 how many chips = the number of chips.

I meant generic as in, no brand (er something similar to that meaning)
1. "no brand' memory is pooopy
2. even no-brand memroy has to use braned TCCDs :) (cuz only a few companies in the world make them)

Are you saying, warranty doesn't matter that much?
No, i said warranties are overrated. :) (very minor distinction). Also, a few things to consider:
1. If you're gonna OC then anything that messes up is your problem
2. Do you really want a product who's main selling point is its warranty? Id rather a product for which the seeling point is performance
3. People that OC their stuff then to "gorw impatient with their technology" .. what are the odds they'll be playing with the same stick of memory in a couple years?
4. For people that dont OC, does anything really matter?
