650i and 1333 fsb c2d proc

does this motherboard look good MSI P6N SLI-FI LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI i planed on getting a 8800gts with it also and this is more better cause iw ill still have empty pci-slots for my tv tuner and wireless card.

also about the 1333fsb processors comming out what do u guz think is better e6600 2.4ghz or a 1333fsb c2d with 1.8ghz

im building my computer on summer vacation or before and dont know when these will come out.

I was looking at that motherboard, but I would go with the Asus 650i for only $129.

If you want to know performance wise, a Core 2 Duo at 2.4Ghz with an FSB of 1066Mhz will outperform a Core 2 Duo at ~2.0Ghz with an FSB of 1333Mhz, the 2.4 would win. The difference in FSB doesnt make much of a difference in real world use.

And if Intel still uses the quad-pumped architecture that it uses now, there couldnt be a 1.8Ghz 1333Mhz CPU. Only 1.66, and 1.99.

i need to go with msi cause if i have 2 8800gts i will still get 2 pci slots wich i need for a wireless card and my tv tuner,


does any one know the differnce between these 2 mother board ones regular the other 1 is plantium

there is a 53 dollars price differnt all i know the differnce between my nowledge is the heat sink pole

It does look like that is the only difference.

which 1 should i get is it worth the extra money? on the lower price one do u think i can buy an after maket northbridge/south brige fan
