65nm vs 45nm

does it really run all that much cooler? is it worth the extra $75 for it over the 65nm? any other benefites?

also this will be for photoshop and other adobe things video edition mabye 3dmax or other autodeskstuff and some games and music aslo dual screens so i can be on the interent and play games or photoshop on the other

The Q9300 also features a refined version of the Core 2 architecture, so clock for clock the Q9300 will perform better. However for those prices, I would say just get the Q6600, as it overclocks higher anyways.

so can you over clock the q6600 so high it will out-preform the q9300 even when the q9300 is overclocked? and why can it be overclocked higher? i thought the 45nm ment it could be overclocked higher?

Yes, because the Q6600 only has a bus speed of 1066MHz, versus the 1333MHz bus of the Q9300.
