6600GT or 7300GS

Should i choose the 6600gt http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814127147 i'm not a big time gamer just wanted to play far cry on my pc. The 7300gs http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814125014 seems to have almost the same spec as the 6600gt(only 190mhz difference in memory speed), the only significant advantage i can see in the 6600gt is its pipeline. I'm on budget here:) , so i don't want to spend $xtra on the 6600gt if i can get the same performance with an 7300gs. thanks.

The 6600GT would DESTROY the 7300GS.

Clock speeds aren't all that matter, that 7300GS also only has 4 pipelines, and a 64 bit memory interface, which would seriously hinder performance.
 
The 6600gt has twice the pixelpipelines, and twice the memory bit bus, and 190mhz is a lot. in otherwords, I would take the 6600GT
 
one more queston. is the msi version better than the xfx's version, they seems to have the same specs. would one of them perform better than the other?
 
If they have the same specs they would perform exactly the same, if thats the case, then i would take into consideration the price of both of them, how many reviews they have, and what looks the best.
 
lol i think i would stay with the 6600gt then, but i thought the 6800xt version was better than the gs one. 6800<6800le<6800xt<<6800gs<6800gt. so the sequence should go this way? thanks again.
