662 in 3dmark03

i just ran 3dmark03 and got a score of 662 and i was wondering if its bad because im guessing it is since my pc stuck at 3fps the way through the tests
 
yeah, thats pretty bad, thats on the 03 version too, dont even wanna see what you'd get with 05 or 06. What card do you have?
 
just a question.. what are the specs of the rest of the system? I mean... no point putting a X800 in a AMD K6 pc, right? :)
 
hmm... i would have actually to check the minimum requirements for the x800 series... I'm not even sure if a K6 is even cabable of running one.. ^_^
 
amd athlon xp 2600+ 1.9ghz
512mb ram - upgrading to 1.5gb at christmas
mobo- asrock k7vm4 with agp 8x
 
hmmm... the system would be a bit heavy on the grafic's side.. but its Ok I think :) Just make sure your Powersupply is strong enough to power it ;)
 
yea i might need a new psu but it says on the x800 box that u need a 380watt psu or higher and i have a 400watt so ill have to just wait and see
 
can you check how many Amperé the PSU has on the +12V?
I think 18+ or so would be enough for that :) (20 to play it safe i think.. but I can't be 100% certain tough )
